1. Joanna Newsom Y’s

For the whole year I was just waiting for something epic, rare and new to be unleashed for the pleasure of our ears. So really it is no surprise that Joanna Newsom has topped my list. Ys is a new approach to Newsom’s other releases, The Milk-Eyed Mender and Walnut Whales, of which are equally as beautiful as Ys. I really can’t wait to see Ms. Newsom live next year at the Spiegeltent.
