New Music: HEALTH

There is so much buzz around the Californian coast that has everyone excited, perhaps due to the inevitable resurgence of promising and established musical acts including No Age, Wavves, Abe Vigoda and Mika Miko. Two years ago, my ears were thoroughly assaulted with a self-titled album from the Californian quartet, HEALTH.

Typeset intended, HEALTH was how I found out about Crystal Castles believe it or not. (Remember the track “Crimewave”?) For many though, it may have been the other way around. HEALTH’s music is robust, danceable and intimidating. There is no light moment in a HEALTH track but I can assure you, it’ll probably be the best noise attack your ears will encounter.
